Rostrum Voice of Youth

Rostrum's Annual Voice of Youth Speaking Competition for Secondary School Students proudly sponsored by Woodside

Have you got something to say?

Well, here is your opportunity to have an audience. This is a public speaking competition in which secondary school students present Prepared and Short Notice (impromptu) speeches in order to gain confidence and share their ideas with others

Who is it for?

Full-time secondary school students in Western Australia

Why should you participate?

So you can gain experience and confidence in expressing your views and getting your message across. Public speaking develops the self-confidence, communication skills and expressive qualities that are so vital in today's world - particularly for young people on the threshold of their careers. Furthermore, it is good fun!
